Build a new home, or improve it

Home building and remodeling

For more than 35 years, we have been a trusted, dependable, home building and remodeling contractor on Cape Cod. Consider us for your next home renovation, or design and build.

Sometimes even a little change can make a big difference. Refinishing or replacing a floor, for example, can make a home feel new.

Changing out old counter tops and cabinets, and adding a bit of new lighting, can reinvigorate a dated kitchen.

Remember: we are more than happy to meet with you, with no obligation, to discuss your vision. And the knowledge we’ll bring to that meeting may help you make better decisions (and save money).

Build a new Cape Cod home

There are many, many factors to take into consideration when you are building a new home on Cape Cod. On a high level, there is 1. what you want, 2. what is allowed (think “regulations”), and 3. what will actually work on your property.

Get the design and options you want in a new home

We have worked successfully with many architects and designers.

One of the things we’ve found is that our clients appreciate our focus on their preferences.

We often act as both “translator” (for those architectural and building terms) and “advocate” for you, so you get what you want, not what the architect wants.

What are you allowed to build?

We have over 35 years of Cape Cod building experience, we have a storehouse of “local knowledge” that’s hard to beat.

And it’s not just the in’s and out’s and vagaries of the various towns, our local knowledge includes the characteristics of the land / area itself. (We once watched an out-of-area builder put a new home on a property that occasionally flooded at super-high tides… a very expensive mistake!)

What will work on your property?

Because we take the time to learn your plans in detail, we help you make well-informed decisions. Sometimes it’s suggesting a modification that will get a nicer view, or a quieter bedroom.

Or, suggesting an alternate placement of a septic system to allow future construction (you can’t put an addition on top of a septic system, for example).
